Master of Finance and Accounting (MFA)
The MFA program is affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by the Government of Karnataka
Objectives:
The objective of Master of Finance and Accounting (MFA) course is to impart professional education and training in various aspects of accounting and finance to the students, to provide them with opportunities to develop conceptual and analytical skills and to foster positive attitudes essential for their development into competent and effective professionals in the field of accounting and finance.
Duration of the Program:
Duration of this course will be two academic years divided into four Semesters.
Eligibility for Admission:
Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Commerce/Accounting/Management of any recognized University and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate of all papers studied in the qualifying examinations are eligible for admission into this course.

Internship Training:
Students are required to work in an organization for eight weeks after the second semester. This is designed to integrate classroom instructions, career goals and work related experience. A satisfactory completion of this internship training is a pre-requisite for a student to appear in the final examinations.
